WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Loch Aline with Haskap is a classic with a twist. The delicate Rhubarb flavour is accented by tropical fruit and the mildness of pear notes; it also has the uniqueness of a bit of Haskap. This wine is pleasant on the palate, with a lingering citrusy finish. Hints of Haskap contribute to its complexity and flavourful fruit, with a little melon on the nose and grapefruit on the palate. True varietal Estate German Wine Rhubarb and Estate Haskap only (no added fruits, concentrates or flavouring) at the peak of colour and freshness contribute to the depth of colour and flavour achieved in this pleasant award-winning wine.

SUGGESTED PAIRINGS

Serve slightly chilled. Loch Aline pairs beautifully with lighter meats, shellfish, or light salad lunch.
