WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Haskap DRY accents the intensity of purely Haskap estate fruit -- a unique flavour profile featuring hints of Cherry, Black Currant, Raspberry and Blueberry components, it has only estate Haskap with no other fruit or concentrates. Balanced tannins, hints of black pepper and full-bodied earthiness contribute to its complexity. The palate is rounded by tangy acidity. This wine has the potential to age and develop further over the next 3-5 years; it is developing that sought after taste-umami.

FOOD PAIRINGS/SERVING TEMPERATURE

Tangy acidity complements rich wild meats, beef and pork, ribs, and flavourful cheeses. Use in cooking to deglaze pans and accent stews and nourishing meat dishes. Best served at room temperature.
