WINEMAKER’S NOTES

Black Currant DRY is a robust, earthy dry wine, with the small addition of estate Haskap giving it complexity and balance. It teases the palate with a full-bodied finish, and the acids are well balanced after aging in bottle for a year. This wine will continue to benefit from a further year in bottle.

FOOD PAIRINGS/SERVING TEMPERATURE

This dry red wine should be served at room temperature and pairs well with robust meats such as ribs, duck and venison. Or sip by itself and savour the uniqueness that is Black Currant.
