About Us
The MacInnis Family “MacAonghais” Sons of Angus
Bee & Thistle Winery is a Veteran, family-owned award-winning fruit winery in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. As descendants of the MacInnis clan originating from the Highlands of Scotland, we proudly showcase our heritage in our wines. Most of the fruit we use is grown in Peter and Margie MacInnis’ Bee & Thistle Orchard and Collin MacInnis’ Ravensfield Estate Orchard. We use only pure whole fruit and no added concentrates, juices or flavors for our regular table wines; our table MIST™ and Frozen MIST™ product lines have added varietal juice according to the named flavour (Haskap, Cherry or Strawberry).
Our Winemaker, Margie, trained at the University of California (Davis) and our CEO, Peter, achieved a Master Distiller certificate in BC. Along with siblings Collin MacInnis and Anne (MacInnis) Greeno, their creative spirits and passionate approach are invaluable assets in the innovation and marketing of new products.
